Kidney Stones

About a week before the wedding Cliff and I were doing some last minute wedding shopping and he all of the sudden had the worst pain in his side. He went to the doctor and found out he had a huge kidney stone. He wanted to be a man and just flush it out on his own, but time went on and he was still in a ton of pain.

So after 3 months he finally decided it was time to let the doctor perform surgery. In preparation for his surgery I made him a little care package since it was his first surgery ever.

He went in yesterday morning at 5:15 and had his stone blasted.

So here is a picture of his stone for all you weird people out there who want to see it. 

He's doing great right now. He slept a whole bunch yesterday and today he is up and wanting to go to gun stores and eating philly cheesesteaks. Nothing can get this boy down. :)

I'm Married!!

Since Cliff and I started our life together a few weeks ago, I thought what better way to track our "newly wed" stage than publicly on a blog. So far, marriage has been so great. Cliff turned to me last night in Vons parking lot and just blurted, "I love being married." I smiled and he said he just likes to have someone with him all the time to make him smile and keep him company. I think that is what I want our marriage to be like for the rest of our lives. Granted we will fight and make each other so mad we can't even be in the same room, but at the end of the day I want to say to myself that "I love being married."

I'm not exactly sure what all will be posted on this blog, but I hope it's all the adventures and fun memories I can preserve from our marriage. So I hope you enjoy!
